Janus is an experiment tracker for machine learning work, run by Nolan Chai for a research team. This page describes what Janus stores and why.

Signing in with Google

When you sign in with Google, Janus receives your name, email address, and Google account ID. It uses them only to sign you in, to show who you are to the people you work with, and to decide which projects and reports you can open. Janus requests no other Google data and never reads your Gmail, Drive, or any other Google service.

Janus's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What you store in Janus

Janus keeps what you and your training jobs send it: runs, metrics, parameters, console output, files, and reports. They are visible to the members of the project or report they belong to.

Cookies

Janus sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in. It uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

Sharing

Janus does not sell or share your information and does not use it for advertising. Its data stays on the Janus server. Traffic reaches it through an encrypted tunnel that cannot read what passes through.

Keeping and deleting data

Your account details are kept while you use Janus. To have your account or anything you stored deleted, write to nolanchai@klyntel.io.
